I went to the site the ad recommended. There was no direct address of CO2 mitigation. Rather one is given a fun, elegant and confusing map to click on all the various projects, large and insignificant, to help with coal problems. If you have a real idea, you don't hide it.

"Even lower emissions"?! Oh yes of course coal is a very clean fuel anyway...

Notice their example of "clean" coal plant is a 3D image since there isn't an actual "clean" coal plant in existence. They had the carbon capture technology set up in Florida for a plant, but the EPA (or I think it was the EPA) wouldn't let them use it because they were scared to store carbon underground. What if there was an earthquake?

What a CROCK! Perhaps if everyone handled an piece of coal, mined a piece of coal(anyone notice how DIRTY a coal miner's face is??!!Not to mention their lungs!), was in the presence of a piece of coal burning; they might, just MIGHT understand what an incredible oxymoron "clean coal" is!!
Can't eat freshwater top-of-the foodchain fish (such as bass) in southern Alabama, on account of Alabama Power's "clean" coal.....
I wonder how much "green" is spent on greenwashing? Wouldn't it be better spent in truly developing better,greener sources of power(WIND!?)and products!!!???
